With all the money circulating around football in this day and age, it’s often a rarity to find lifelong dedicated fans, though one man from the south of Italy has remained attached to his team for almost the past eight decades.
Meet ‘Nonno Ciccio’, a 90-year-old football-veteran who has dedicated the past 79 years of his life to Lega Pro side Foggia Calcio.
Following his team at home and on the road since 1937, Nonno Ciccio has been on a life changing adventure all in the name of his love of Calcio.
Residing in the Satanelli’s Curva Nord, Ciccio classes himself as an Ultra, a supporter who will go the extra length to back his team, no matter what the result.
In fact, he may just be the world’s oldest Ultra, and the guys over at Copa90 have made a video in order to tell his heart-warming story.
