Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly eyeing a move for Zenit St. Petersburg’s Axel Witsel.

The 27-year-old Belgian, who plays predominantly as a central midfielder but can also be deployed as an attacking midfielder, has made a total of 27 appearances for Zenit in all competitions this season.

As per the Sun, Spurs have joined the likes of AC Milan, Juventus and Roma in their pursuit of the former Benfica man.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men are reportedly willing to offer a fee in the region of €25 million to acquire the services of the Belgium international, whose current contract at Zenit runs out next season.

Witsel joined Zenit St. Petersburg back in 2012 for a fee in the region of €40 million when he signed a five-year-deal.
