abbiati ac milanAC Milan goalkeeper Christian Abbiati believes that there is little time to settle in for newly appointed coach Cristian Brocchi, as the club continue to vie for European action next season.

The former Primavera boss was appointed to the Milan hot seat after Sinisa Mihajlovic was sacked following a run of poor results, and Abbiati hopes that the new coach is up to the difficult task.

“This will not be an easy trial for our new coach but Brocchi is a person who puts a lot of passion into everything he does,” the 38-year-old told Milan Channel.

“This experience is an opportunity for him, as he is a man who accepts challenges and we hope that we can succeed with him.”

Despite qualifying for the Coppa Italia final, the Rossoneri remain in sixth place in the Serie A table, seven points back of Fiorentina for the last Europa League spot.
