“We played a great game.” said Castori to Mediaset Premium. “The draw is absolutely right for the spirit and defensive ability we showed.
“We have improved greatly of late and this point really helps our survival hopes. We tried to catch them on the break and we almost did at the end, but [Gianluigi] Donnarumma denied us.
“I’m still happy though, this is a good result. We executed our game plan limiting the space Milan got which stopped players like [Giacomo] Bonaventura and [Kevin Prince] Boateng. ”
Finally, Castori said that his team was determined to survive relegation this season despite having a tough fixture list. “The team is fit and we are not afraid of anyone. The team wants to survive and we must maintain this form.”
