Following Juventus’ historic fifth consecutive Scudetto, several past Bianconeri heroes offered their congratulations to their former team, including Alessandro Del Piero and New York City FC star Andrea Pirlo.
Alessandro Del Piero, who scored a remarkable 290 goals for Juventus during a prolific 19 seasons, took to twitter and tweeted, “This is history. This is you. This is Juve. Congratulations guys!!!”

Former striker Mirko Vucinic, who helped the Old Lady win three Serie A titles tweeted, “Great, guys!” along with five emoji Italian flags to mark the occasion.

Simone Pepe, who joined Juventus in 2010 and remained with the club until just last season also congratulated his former teammates for making history, along with a large photo of the Italian Scudetto superimposed with a 34, representing Juventus’ total league championships, including the two stripped as a result of the Calciopoli scandal.

And finally, Andrea Pirlo, who is now playing in the United States after helping the Bianconeri win their previous four Scudetti also joined in, posting on his personal facebook and twitter page: “Congratulations to all! Players, company, staff and fans!”
