Sergio Araujo Las PalmasLas Palmas’s Argentinian forward Sergio Araujo is a transfer target for Inter.

Araujo, who started his career at Boca Juniors in his homeland, initially joined Las Palmas on loan in the summer of 2014, helping to fire the club to promotion from Spain’s second tier.

The 24-year-old, who has scored three league goals this season, is now being lined up by Inter, according to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.

The Argentine spent a season at Barcelona B in 2012-13 and has played for Argentina at under-17, under-20 and under-23 level.

Inter’s forward line may undergo a number of changes this summer, with Adem Ljajic and Stevan Jovetic being linked with moves away, and Inter also said to be interested in Valencia’s Sofiane Feghouli.

The Nerazzurri’s goal return in Serie A this season has been poor compared to that of their rivals for the Champions League places, which the club seems keen to address in the coming months.
