Mexico international Javier Hernandez is currently having a very positive season with Bayer Leverkusen, but admitted his uncertainty regarding the future.

The former Manchester United striker is believed to be one of Inter’s transfer targets for the next summer window.

In an interview to Bild, Hernandez said: “My future does not solely depend on my will.

“I just live in the present, as sometimes you make plans which do not work out in the end.

“The decision is not just mine, Bayer will have to decide whether to keep me or let me go.”

According to rumours, the Nerazzurri have already put forward a bid in the region of €8 million for the Mexican striker, who is believed to be the perfect replacement in the case of Mauro Icardi’s departure.

Hernandez has showed consistent form during this season, accumulating 16 goals in 25 Bundesliga appearances as well as five goals in six Champions League matches.
