Juventus are reportedly ready to make a summer bid for Liverpool striker Christian Benteke.
Former Napoli and current Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani remains the club’s no.1 target although the Belgium international is also being lined up as a cheaper option.
Benteke held talks with Liverpool to clarify his future with the 25-year-old struggling for playing time at Anfield according to talkSPORT.
The forward is valued at €25 million as the Merseyside club look to recoup half of the money they paid Aston Villa and this move could be funded by Real Madrid taking up the option to resign Alvaro Morata or by the sale of Mario Mandzukic to Tottenham Hotspur.
Benteke has made 34 appearances for the Reds across all competitions, scoring eight goals.
