AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli has made it clear that he does not wish to return to England at the conclusion of the season.

Balotelli has suffered from a groin disruption throughout this season and has only managed a single goal in 17 Serie A appearances, but the volatile Italian has firmly dismissed any intention of going back to Liverpool when his loan deal expires in June.

“I want to stay with Milan because I wasn’t happy at Liverpool and I don’t want to return there,” Balotelli told the media, as reported by the Guardian.

“I’ve done well in my last two games and there are another six left for me to prove myself.

“I feel that I’m finally in good physical shape and I am relaxed.”

The former Inter and Manchester City striker moved to Anfield in 2014 for a fee of £16 million but failed to secure a regular spot in the squad, scoring only one Premier League goal in 16 appearances.
