Roberto Mancini has claimed that Inter deserved to win the encounter against Napoli in Serie A on Sunday, and says that any regrets from this season will be evaluated at the end of the championship.
The Nerazzurri beat Napoli 2-0 thanks to first-half goals from Mauro Icardi and Marcelo Brozovic and Mancini’s side are now just three points behind Champions League chasing, Roma, albeit having played a game more than the Giallorossi.
”We deserved to win the game even though Napoli started the well in terms of their possession,” said the Italian tactician. “We had some defensive difficulties but in the end I think we deserved to win the game.”
“If we have any regrets they will be discussed at the end of the season. There is still a month left to go and we have to try to give it our all.’
