Roma are considering a move for Paris Saint-Germain right-back Gregory van der Wiel.
The 28-year-old will see his current contract run out at the conclusion of this season and the Ligue 1 champions don’t appear keen on renewing.
According to Calciomercato, the player’s agent has been in contact with Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini in regards to a potential move.
Alessandro Florenzi has been deputising at right-back for much of the season but coach Luciano Spalletti may be looking for a more permanent fixture for the backline next term.
Over the past several months, the Dutch international has attracted the interest of several other clubs, including Inter.
Van der Wiel has made 14 appearances for PSG this season and has chipped in offensively with two goals and three assists.
