Roma are planning a complex summer transfer deal that could see three players involved.

Although they would love to do so, Inter are apparently unable to clinch the permanent signing of loanee defender Miranda due to the outlay involved and the uncertainty of recuperating funds. However, Luciano Spalletti’s side from the capital are keen to involve themselves to take the problem out of Inter’s hands.

The two clubs are presently locked in negotiations over the future of Adem Ljajic, and according to ForzaRoma the two deals could become very intertwined.

Roma are reportedly ready to let the Nerazzurri have Ljajic on a permanent contract, as well as relinquishing all of their stake in fullback Dodo, in exchange for Miranda.

This workaround option has been forced on Roma, too, as they currently sit at their limit of non-Italian players in the squad.

Inter are able to trigger a clause in Miranda’s contract at Atletico Madrid for a fee of €11 million, although the Lupi are ready to finance Inter a few million above that as part of the deal.
