iturbe - romaRoma-owned winger Juan Iturbe could be set for a return to former club River Plate in the summer.

The 22-year-old, who is currently on loan at Bournemouth, has only made four appearances for his current suitors since joining in January and it seems unlikely that the Cherries will wish to make the deal permanent at the conclusion of the season.

According to Corriere Dello Sport, Roma coach Luciano Spalletti will review the youngster’s situation upon his return to the Stadio Olimpico and will then decide his fate, with River Plate reportedly happy to bring him back.

Iturbe can be deployed on either flank but had racked up just ten appearances for the Giallorossi before joining Eddie Howe’s side.

The Paraguayan was bought by Roma from fellow Serie A club Hellas Verona for a fee in the region of €22 million, after plying his trade with Porto and Los Millonarios.
