Maksimovic TorinoTorino defender Nikola Maksimovic is attracting interest from the Premier League, following a strong season for the Granata.

The 24-year-old was being tracked by Napoli last summer but the Partenopei ultimately failed to meet Torino’s asking price.

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United, Manchester City and West Ham United have all expressed an interest in bringing the Serbian to England, with the London-based side reportedly willing to place a €22 million bid.

Maksimovic joined Torino in 2013 and has become a key figure in the squad, so it will take a significant fee to convince club president Urbano Cairo to sell another one of the club’s top performers.

Il Toro have made a habit of offloading key contributors in recent seasons, including Alessio Cerci to Aletico Madrid, Ciro Immobile to Borussia Dortmund, Matteo Darmian to Manchester United and Angelo Ogbonna to city rivals Juventus.
