The 39-year-old forward revealed there is no problem between the pair despite rumours of a heated exchange between the two just minutes after Totti had rescued a point for the club.
“It’s all fine, we will go for dinner together tonight,” Totti said on the television show Striscia La Notizia.
“He’s a very good person. The past is forgotten, nothing happened between us.”
Spalletti was also present on the show and insisted both himself and Totti can both remain at the club together in the future.
“I got angry with him because in a quarter of an hour he could have scored two goals, and instead he only got one,” Spalletti said.
“I treat him like any important player. Totti is a good option for Roma. I’ll definitely stay, and Francesco [will also stay] another six, seven or even 10 years.”
