Zenit eyeing Torino defender

Glik - TorinoRussian side Zenit Saint Petersburg are allegedly considering putting forward a bid for Torino captain Kamil Glik.

The Poland international has been the subject of a great deal of transfer talk in the recent past, with several clubs including AC Milan, Newcastle United and Inter showing interest in the central defender.

According to Russian publication Izvestia, Glik has already met representatives of the reigning Premier League champions, who are prepared to offer Torino a bid in the region of €11 million.

The 28-year-old has now become the latest in a string of Serie A players who have recently been linked to Zenit.

Glik moved from Palermo to Torino in 2011, for a fee of about €2.5 million.

The Granata captain has recently prolonged his deal with the Stadio Olimpico side, with the new contract set to expire in June 2020.
