Cristian Brocchi could be set to take charge of his final AC Milan match during their Coppa Italia clash against Juventus on Saturday, as the club are reportedly keen on appointing Marco Giampaolo.

The ex-Empoli boss only concluded his Tuscan adventure on May 14 , although the Rossoneri hierarchy have now added the 48-year-old to their long list of potential candidates for their coaching role.

This latest development has been confirmed by Tele Lombardia, who have claimed that Giampaolo could soon start negotiations with the Rossoneri board.

However, they have also reported that Milan are considering a move for ex-Roma boss, Rudi Garcia, as well as Roberto Donadoni, who has impressed during his short stint with Bologna.

In terms of the incumbent Brocchi, the 40-year-old has failed to impress the Rossoneri hierarchy, and he is likely to be relieved of his duties following the Coppa Italia final in Rome.
