baccaAC Milan striker Carlos Bacca believes that a victory in Saturday’s Coppa Italia final can salvage a disappointing season.

The Rossoneri square off against Juventus with plenty to play for and the Colombian striker understands the significance of this fixture.

“Winning this match would save our season, awarding us a trophy and providing us the opportunity to play in the Europa League,” Bacca told Spanish publication Marca.

“In a one-off match anything can happen, Juve have proven themselves to be very strong but we are concentrated and have prepared well in training.

“We cannot repeat last weekend’s performance against Roma.”

Bacca was then asked to comment on his debut season in Serie A.

“The year was not positive, I am happy for the goals that I scored but it is team victories that come first,” he concluded.
