alves pogbaJuventus are close to completing a deal for Barcelona wingback Dani Alves.

The Bianconeri are in the market for a new right-back to potentially replace Stephan Lichtsteiner and Alves’ agent Santa Ana da Silva Dinorah has admitted that contact has in fact been made.

“It is true that Juventus have made contact and anything can happen,” Dinorah told Calciomercato.it.

“However, I cannot reveal the details of his contract with Barcelona as they are confidential.”

It has been reported that Alves has a clause in his contract that would allow the former Sevilla man to terminate his contract a season early without penalty if exercised by June 5.

According to Su Sport, the player has already agreed to the move, allowing the Bianconeri to beat out competition from Manchester United and the Chinese Super League.

Mediaset reports that The Old Lady have offered a two-year contract, with an option for a third season.

This is the second Blaugrana player to be linked with a switch to Turin within 24 hours, after Barcelona rejected an approach for Javier Mascherano.
