As the future of AC Milan grows increasingly uncertain, current coach, Cristian Brocchi, has revealed that he would like Silvio Berlusconi to remain at the club in his current form as president.
The Italian entrepreneur is edging ever closer to the potential sale of Milan to Chinese investors, although the potential deal is yet to be finalised.
“I do hope that Berlusconi remains the president of Milan,” said Brocchi to Rai Sport. “I do not know anyone who loves Milan more than he does.”
The 40-year-old tactician has only been in charge of the Rossoneri since April, although he has since lauded Berlusconi’s footballing desire, and revealed his ambition to remain at the club for the forthcoming season.
“At this moment we are experiencing some difficulties but he still has the desire to form a winning Milan side,” he added. “And if this is something he wants to do with me as coach, then I will be the happiest person in the world.”
