Conte keen on bringing Napoli defender to Chelsea

FBL-ITA-SERIEA-NAPOLI-FROSINONEWith Antonio Conte joining the club after Euro 2016, Chelsea are hoping of signing Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.

The 24-year-old has had a stand out season in Serie A and has attracted the interest of the London club.

Reports suggest that Chelsea are willing to buy the Senegalese international for €25 million as part of an overhaul at the club over the summer ahead of a the new season.

Currently earning around €800,000 per season, the player may be interested in the idea of a move to Stamford Bridge, where his salary would likely be tripled.

Although the sale would result in a huge cash boost for Napoli ahead of their return to the Champions League next season yet coach Maurizio Sarri may struggle to replace his star defender.

Along with fellow centre back Raul Albiol, Koulibaly former a formidable partnership which saw the Partenopei  conceded just 32 goals in their 38 Serie A games.
