PavolettiSerie A side Fiorentina are reportedly on the lookout to add a new striker to their squad.

The Viola are considering several profiles to best prepare themselves for a summer move for a consistent source of goals next season.

According to Il Corriere Fiorentino, upper management are currently evaluating two main candidates; Southampton striker Graziano Pelle, and Genoa forward Leonardo Pavoletti, and will likely put forward a bid at the conclusion of the European Championship.

This news follows reports indicating that the Viola hierarchies have definitively rejected the youngster Khouma Babacar as a reliable alternative to their attacking main man, Nikola Kalinic, who has struggled himself of late, finding the back of the net on just three occasions since November.

Pelle, 30 years old, has accumulated 29 Premier League appearances for Southampton, scoring 10 goals, and is believed to be one of the pillars of the Azzurri squad for the Euros.

On the other hand, the 27-year-old Pavoletti has played 24 Serie A games with Genoa, scoring 13 goals in what has been the most prolific season of his career to date.
