Inter midfielder Felipe Melo.

The likes of Jackson Martinez, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Fredy Guarin and Ramires all currently ply their trade in East Asia’s fastest growing sports league, but their appetite for global names has only just begun and recruitment is an ongoing process.

Despite Felipe Melo claiming that he’s happy in Milan, La Gazzetta dello Sport report that he could soon be joining Shanghai Shenhua.

In Shanghai he could link up once more with Colombia international Guarin, who moved to the Chinese metropolis in the winter transfer window.

The corporation backed side have set aside €5 million for the transfer of the Brazilian, a fee that the Nerazzurri are apparently happy to do business with.

Tenacious midfielder Melo only joined Inter last year, fresh from a successful four year spell in Turkey with Galatasaray.
