Juventus full-back set to extend Turin stay

Juventus Bayern Munich Evra RobbenPatrice Evra’s time at Juventus looks set to be prolonged, with the Bianconeri preparing a two-year extension for the Frenchman.

With his current deal expiring at the conclusion of the current campaign, the former Manchester United defender has been impressive this season, which appears to have earned him a new deal.

According to Sky Sport Italia, there have been a number of meetings between Evra’s representatives and the Agnelli family, and an announcement appears to be increasingly imminent.

The 34-year-old has won successive Scudetti and a Coppa Italia title during his two years at the Juventus Stadium so far, and has featured 67 times for the Bianconeri.

During his two-year stay to date, Evra has netted on two occasions and contributed a further seven assists.
