higuainWith Zlatan Ibrahimovic leaving the club, Paris Saint-Germain are looking for another leading forward and have turned their attention to Napoli man Gonzalo Higuain.

The Argentine forward scored a remarkable 36 goals in 35 Serie A games and now the French champions are after his services.

According to French newspaper Le Parisien, there has already been contact between PSG and Higuain’s representatives as they look to sign the Napoli striker.

Nicolas Higuain, the striker’s brother who also acts as his agent, was in Paris this weekend to hold initial discussions with the Ligue 1 champions.

Higuain’s buyout clause is a reported €94 million but that figure will not put off the big spending Parisians as they look to win an elusive Champions League title.

The future of Ibrahimovic meanwhile is still to be decided with the likes of AC Milan and Manchester United interested in the former Juventus forward.
