PEGASO NEWSPORT-CARPI-EMPOLI CAMPIONATO SERIE A TIM 15-16Udinese host Carpi this Sunday at the Stadio Friuli in the final Serie A game of the season.

The hosts sit in 16th place with 39 points, which is enough for them to remain in Serie A as they are four point above their visitors at the weekend.

Unfortunately for Fabrizio Castori, his side are in 18th, which currently puts them in the regulation zone by just one point. They will be desperate for a win, as three points could see them leapfrog Palermo, and remain in Serie A next season.

Both sides have struggled lately with the Zebrette having only won two matches since March. Their last victory was a 2-1 upset over Fiorentina, thanks to goals from Duvan Zapata and Cyril Thereau.

After a slow start to the season, Carpi have picked up form recently having secured four victories in their last ten matches.

The Biancorossi won the reverse fixture earlier in the season 2-1, thanks to goals from midfielders Lorenzo Pasciuti and Lorenzo Lollo, although Lollo will be unavailable to Castori this weekend, as he serves a yellow card suspension.

Luigi De Canio will be forced deep into his bench as Alexander Merkel, Antonio Di Natale, and Molla Wague are all unavailable due to injury and Zdravko Kuzmanovic is out on yellow card suspension.

The Biancorossi will be without Igor Bubnjic, Eddy Gnahore, Matteo Fedele due to injury and remarkably have four players serving yellow card suspensions, forcing them to play without Simone Romagnoli, Fabrizio Poli, Lorenzo Lollo and Gaetano Letizia.
