Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini marked his 400th club cap by returning from injury to score in the Bianconeri’s 5-0 thrashing of Sampdoria, on the same day that the Bianconeri raised their fifth consecutive Scudetto.
Chiellini made his Serie A debut in the 2005 season with Fiorentina, where he became a regular starter, scoring three goals.
The following season Chiellini was sold to the Bianconeri and from that point on, never looked back, even remaining with the club in Serie B after the Calciopoli scandal following his first season in Turin.
Since then, Chiellini has become the backbone of both Juventus’ and Italy’s defence, and marked the milestone with his only goal of the season. The Old Lady have created a video celebrating one of their most dependable defenders.
