AC Milan are interested in signing Aston Villa full-back Jordan Amavi during the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old former Nice defender suffered a serious knee injury while on France Under-21 international duty in November and missed the remainder of the season as his club suffered relegation from the English Premier League.
According to French newspaper L’Equipe, the Rossoneri are prepared to offer a fee in the region of €10 million to secure the attack minded player’s signature. Amavi’s contract does not end until 2020 and would need to prove his fitness if the transfer was to be completed.
Despite his injury, Amavi made an impression during his ten league appearances in an otherwise disastrous campaign for the West Midlands club. Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are also thought to be monitoring the situation.
