PjanicRoma midfielder Miralem Pjanic has been linked with a move to La Liga champions Barcelona during the summer transfer window.

The 26-year-old Bosnia and Herzegovina international has spent the last five seasons in the Italian capital with the Giallorossi following his €11 million move from Olympique Lyonnais in August 2011.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the Blaugrana will attempt to reunite current coach Luis Enrique with Pjanic and are willing to meet his buyout clause of €38M before the deadline of July 15. The pair worked together in Rome during the 2011/12 Serie A season.

Pjanic scored ten league goals and assisted another 12 as Luciano Spalletti’s outfit claimed the chance to earn a Champions League group stage berth after a third place finish in Italy last season.

Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United are also interested in acquiring the attacking midfielder’s services as well as Paris-Saint Germain and Juventus.
