Roma defender Antonio Rudiger has been linked with a move to English Premier League club Chelsea.
The 23-year-old Germany international centre-back completed a permanent move to the Giallorossi from Stuttgart on Monday after impressing on loan under the guidance of coach Luciano Spalletti last season.
According to la Repubblica, the former Borussia Dortmund youth team player could be set for an immediate move with Antonio Conte hoping to add to his defensive options ahead of the new season with the player’s representatives in London for talks with Roman Abramovich’s adviser Marina Granovskaia.
The Giallorossi will demand a fee in the region of €25 million for the defender after he became an important figure under Spalletti as Roma claimed third place in Serie A and the chance to earn a Champions League group stage berth.
