Dani Alves nears Juventus switch as full-back buys Turin apartment

Dani AlvesWith Barcelona confirming on Wednesday that Dani Alves would leave the Camp Nou this summer, speculation linking the Brazilian with a move to Juventus has intensified in recent days.

Following the Blaugrana’s official announcement, news revealing the full-back purchased an apartments in Turin has added to the rumours suggesting the 33-year-old is set to join the Bianconeri.

Real estate brokers Proto Group Ltd confirmed that the defender purchased the apartment after viewing no less than 22 different properties in the city.

Alves, who joined Barcelona from fellow La Liga side Sevilla in 2008, went on to become the club’s second highest foreign appearance-maker.

During his eight years with the Catalan giants, Alves racked up a remarkable 23 trophies. Juventus are thought to have beaten off competition from Paris Saint-Germain to land the Brazilian.
