Juventus have reportedly made their intentions clear as they swoop for Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

The Armenian midfielder had an impressive season last time out, finishing the campaign with 15 assists which helped him win votes to become the Bundesliga’s Player of the Season.

According to CalcioMercato, the Gunners looked poised to secure the 27-year-old but Juventus are knocking on the door.

Transfer rumours have been fuelled in recent weeks by the player apparently turning down the chance to renew his contract in Germany, as he angles to continue the annual exodus at Dortmund.

Ilkay Gundogan has already left the club this season, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang continues to be linked with a mega money move away.

Mkhitaryan has earned rave reviews in Germany since joining in 2013, with the club at the time beating Liverpool to his signature.
