Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho has targeted a move for Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic as he looks to bolster his options during the summer transfer window.
The 26-year-old Bosnia and Herzegovina international has been with the Giallorossi for the last five seasons following an €11 million move from Olympique Lyonnais in August 2011.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Mourinho wants to add at least four quality additions to his Red Devils squad during his first transfer window with the club and has identified the free-kick specialist as his number one midfield priority.
Pjanic scored ten league goals last season as La Maggica secured third place in Serie A to claim a Champions League playoff spot. Juventus, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are also thought to be interested in acquiring his services.
