AC Milan baccaTalks between West Ham United and AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca have broken down, with the two parties failing to agree on the player’s salary.

Bacca and his representatives are thought to have been looking for €5 million per annum, whereas the Hammers were unwilling to pay more than €4m.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Bacca is now awaiting offers from the La Liga pairing of Valencia and Atletico Madrid, who he views as more favourable options than the Premier League outfit.

Milan and West Ham had agreed a transfer fee of €30m for the Colombian, so any offer from Atleti or Valencia will likely need to be of a similar financial weight.

Bacca was one of Europe’s most clinical strikers last season, ending the 2015-16 acmpaign with 20 goals to his name across all competitions.
