Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci has travelled to Manchester to discuss terms in a possible transfer for the Italian.

It is the blue Manchester City side of the city that have expressed an interest in the 29-year-old and a positive Euro 2016 campaign for Italy has only increased their desire to bring him to the Etihad Stadium.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus previously rejected a €45 million offer, however Pep Guardiola and the rest of the City management reportedly have no limit in the amount they can spend, so a new offer of around €60 has been put on the table.

New City coach Guardiola has also publicly praised the defender himself.

Should the Bianconeri reject the new offer from the English Premier League side, it is unlikely that discussions will stop there as City’s large funds could eventually make an irresistible deal.
