Boca Juniors forward Carlos Tevez could make a return to Italian football, with Inter proposing a possible purchase this summer.

The Argentine returned to his home country last summer after spending two years with Juventus, where he won two Serie A titles, a Coppa Italia and a Supercoppa Italiana.

According to Tuttosport, the Nerazzurri have recently offered a return to Italy for Tevez, who has had a slightly unfavourable season with Boca Juniors, scoring just four goals in the league.

The Xeneizes were also knocked out of the Copa Libertadores and Tevez appears ready to have another change of scenery.

He started his career at Boca before joining Corinthians and then moving to England, playing for West Ham United and both Manchester Clubs before switching to Juventus.

Tevez played 20 games for Boca in all competitions last season.
