roberto pereyraAfter a far from successful season, Juventus midfielder Roberto Pereyra is set for a move to Serie A rivals Napoli this summer.

The 25-year-old, who made just 16 appearances for the Old Lady in central midfield last year in all competitions, scoring no goals and making just one assist throughout the campaign, has attracted interest from Maurizio Sarri and his club Napoli.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Pereyra is set to become Napoli’s second signing of the summer after Lorenzo Tonelli, who arrived from Empoli.

A fee in the region of €18 million has been agreed despite Juventus’ demand of €20 million, and the Partenopei are close to agreeing personal terms with the Argentine international.

Pereyra joined Juventus in 2014 from Udinese for a fee in the region of €14 million, having previously played for Argentine club River Plate for three years between 2008 and 2011.
