Juventus have reportedly lined-up three midfielders from Manchester United as potential replacements, should Paul Pogba leave Turin.

New United boss Jose Mourinho intends to trim down his squad, especially in midfield, as he looks to accommodate the potential arrival of Pogba to go along with his new summer signings of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Eric Bailly.

As reported by calciomercato, Bianconeri director Giuseppe Marotta has earmarked Bastian Schweinsteiger, Marouane Fellaini and Morgan Schneiderlin as the trio of United midfielders that could take the Frenchman’s place in midfield, outlining the Italian champions’ ambition to further strengthen their squad.

Pogba joined Juve in 2012 from the Red Devils, and has since seen his reputation grow as one of the best midfielders in the world, with the 23-year-old clinching four Scudetti while netting a total of 28 goals in 124 appearances.
