Despite previous reports a switch would not taken place, Napoli midfielder Mirko Valdifiori is nearing a move to fellow Serie A side Torino.
The 30-year-old joined the Partenopei last summer from Empoli and is seemingly heading for the exit door this summer, even though club president Aurelio De Laurentiis recently blocked a move.
According to Rai Sport, Torino are the side showing the most interest in signing the Italian, with an offer of €4 million on the table, but it is believed that Napoli are requesting €5m to let the move go through.
Valdifiori is reportedly already on the verge of becoming a Granata player, however, so that shouldn’t be too big a problem for Napoli.
All parties involved are keen to find an agreement and it is believed that the deal could be finalised before the weekend.
Valdifiori joined Napoli for €5.5m but only featured in 15 games for Napoli in all competitions last season, picking up two assists.
