Inter on a free transfer, penning a deal for the next three seasons.

The 28-year-old has plied his trade with Spanish side Sevilla FC since the summer of 2014, though has now switched sides to the peninsula to join Roberto Mancini’s men after months of discussions.

“F.C. Internazionale is delighted to confirm that Ever Banega will wear the Nerazzurri shirt for the next three seasons,” An announcement read on the club’s official website.

“The Argentina midfielder has racked up 299 league and cup appearances over the course of his career in Argentina and Spain, bagging 22 goals in the process.” The statement continued.

Banega joins the club for free, having allowed his contract to run out with the La Liga side.

Having wrapped up the deal for the midfielder, Inter will now look to tighten up other areas of the field, as they hope to secure the services of Barcelona defender Thomas Vermaelen.
