gianluca lapadulaPescara boss Massimo Oddo believes AC Milan have made a good move in signing striker Gianluca Lapadula.

Lapadula has spent the majority of his career in the lower leagues of Italian football after going out on loan to clubs such as Teramo and Gorica while at Parma, however he had a prolific season for Pescara last year and helped them gain promotion to Serie A.

“Firstly, he is a strong and complete attacker who can play well with teammates,” Oddo told MTV. “He arrived in last year as a second striker but he ended up in the primary position.

“He is a super striker and is ready for a big team like Milan because he is a strong player.”

Once he starts playing for Il Diavolo, new coach Vincenzo Montella will hope Lapadula’s form of 30 goals in 43 games from last year will continue and make him worth the €9 million the club paid for him.

The 26-year-old forward has already expressed a desire to create history at his new club, and return the Rossoneri to challenging for major honours.
