Southampton and Italy striker expected to move to China

Italy forward Graziano Pelle could be the next man to make a big-money switch to the growing Chinese Super League.

Several big players from Serie A and abroad have made their way to the Asian country which is experiencing a footballing revolution, and Italian international Pelle could follow the trend soon.

As announced on Sky Sports News UK’s Twitter account, Shandong Luneng Taishan have prepared a deal worth around €15 million for the 30-year-old which he is expected to accept.

Pelle had recently been approached by English Premier League giants Chelsea as new coach Antonio Conte looked to possibly coach him again following his stint at Azzurri boss.

The career of the former Lecce man only really kickstarted after his move to England in 2014, and he has since made his Italy debut as well as grabbing 30 goals in 80 games for his club.
