Dinamo Zagreb midfielder closes in on Napoli switch

marko rog marko pjacaCroatian midfielder Marko Rog is set to complete a move to Napoli as they look to utilise their earnings from the sale of Gonzalo Higuain.

Higuain left for Juventus recently and the Partenopei have since been searching for strong squad members to fill the gap he left behind, and although Rog is not an attacker, president Aurelio De Laurentiis believes he would nonetheless be a good addition to the team.

According to reports from TuttoMercatoWeb, the 21-year-old Dinamo Zagreb man has agreed to a deal to bring him to the Stadio San Paolo, worth €13 million which will could reach as much as €17.5m as a result of bonus additions.

It is the second signing in quick succession for the Serie A side after the arrival of Arkadiusz Milik from Ajax for at least €25m.
