mauro-icardiNapoli have not given up in their efforts to sign Inter striker Mauro Icardi and are willing to spend a huge sum of money on his services.

The Partenopei have already signed Arkadiusz Milik from Ajax but it’s believed that Napoli desire a huge signing to replace recently departed Gonzalo Higuain, and Icardi fits that bill.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli would be willing to part with an astonishing €70m to tempt the Nerazzurri into selling their star man.

It’s up to the player himself to decide whether he moves to Naples or stays at the Stadio Meazza, but it’s likely that he would sign a new contract in Milan if he were to stay.

Icardi joined Inter from Sampdoria in 2013 and has since gone on to make 105 appearances for them, scoring 52 goals.
