icardiDespite several rejections, Napoli are not giving up on their attempts to sign Inter striker Mauro Icardi and have submitted another bid.

The Partenopei have offered increasing amounts of money each time along with a member of their own squad, firstly Mirko Valdifiori and now Manolo Gabbiadini, but the Nerazzurri have consistently refused.

According to Sport Mediaset, the new offer is worth either €60 million plus bonuses, or €45 million with Gabbiadini once again included.

Although this saga has been going on for a few weeks, it looks likely that it could reach a conclusion soon, with Inter coach Roberto Mancini reportedly giving a transfer the go ahead, as he looks to secure funds to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Borussia Dortmund.

Napoli face competition from abroad for Icardi’s signature, however, with English Premier League side Arsenal also preparing an offer recently.
