AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani’s future will be decided by Silvio Berlusconi.

Berlusconi sold the club for €740 million earlier this summer to a Chinese consortium headed up by Li Yonghong, while Marco Fassone is expected to take over Galliani’s role at the club.

According to Il Giornale, while Fassone will decide the new members of the club’s management, it will be down to Berlusconi to decide the future of Galliani.

He became vice-president of the club at the same time Berlusconi took over in 1986, but Galliani’s future is uncertain following the sale.

A possible date for when Galliani’s position may be announced is some time in November, which is reportedly when the Chinese party are hoping to complete the takeover and gain control of the club.
