Lazio have sought to bolster their attacking options with the deadline-day loan signing of Valencia winger Nani.

With Keita Balde’s future far from certain, the Biancoceleste moved quickly to land the Portuguese international, after entering into negotiations with Valencia on Wednesday evening.

The former Manchester United winger arrives at the Stadio Olimpico on an initial season-long loan, set at €3.5 million. Meanwhile, Lazio are obliged to make the move permanent for a further €8m next summer, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Further to this, the Aquile are due to pay an extra €3m in bonuses, whilst Nani has penned a four-year contract worth €2.5m per season.

Nani joins Lazio just one year on from playing an instrumental role in Portugal’s Euro 2016 success, but struggled to make an impact in Spanish football last term.

Lazio become the 30-year-old’s fourth club in as many seasons, having taken in spells at Sporting CP and Fenerbahce before joining Valencia.
