Duvan Zapata and Ivan Strinic have both left Napoli to join Sampdoria as the Blucerchiati put the final pieces of their squad together.

Strinic will join the Stadio Luigi Ferraris side on an immediate permanent switch, while Zapata’s move will be an initial loan deal with Samp having an obligation to make the deal permanent at the end of the loan agreement.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the total cost of the two transfers comes to around €22 million, with €18m being spent on Zapata and the additional €4m on the Croatian.

Following the duo’s departure, Partenopei president Aurelio De Laurentiis has closed the door for any other potential exits.
