Lazio director of sport Igli Tare confirmed the Aquile have received big money offers for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, though they aren’t keen to let him go.

The Serbian’s value continues to rise thanks to his impressive performance for the Biancocelesti under coach Simone Inzaghi.

Tare revealed Lazio have already said no to offers of over €70 million as they are convinced he has what it takes to be one of football’s brightest stars.

“The field dictates his value,” Tare told Premium Sport. “We’ve received offers that are even higher [than €70m], but they weren’t from Juventus.

“I consider him a player that has ample room for improvement. He will have a great career.

“He renewed his contract six months ago because he is happy at Lazio, and we hope he can be a symbol for us in the future.”

Milinkovic-Savic has netted 11 goals in 83 appearances for Lazio since joining from Genk in 2015.
