Despite failing to create any meaningful chances on goal, and being pushed back for the majority of the game, Inter midfielder Borja Valero insisted the Nerazzurri didn’t fear facing Juventus.

The two sides played out a 0-0 draw at the Allianz Stadium, with Inter having just one shot on target throughout the entire 90 minutes.

“We weren’t afraid of Juventus, we just lacked a bit of cutting edge, but we came here to win it, as we do with every team,” Valero told Mediaset Premium.

“The season still has a long way to go, and nothing counts until the end. Now we have a cup match on Tuesday and a Serie A game on Saturday, so we have to just keep going as we are.

“When we get the ball in good positions we always try and find [Mauro] Icardi, but today we didn’t manage to get those opportunities.”
